Responsibilites
- Building web applications using the Laravel framework, particularly PHP-based applications using Composer-based frameworks
- Produce “clean” and well-structured code, with detailed specifications
- Collaborate with the team in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Experienced in designing and maintaining MySQL databases
- A passion for Test-driven code
- Managing source code using GIT
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure vital optimization and functionality
- Design and implement new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Stay informed about industry best practices
- Experience with responsive web design; knowledge of the Bootstrap framework a plus
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience of working on a PHP Developer position
- Expertise with PHP 7.x+
- Solid experience with web technologies, including but not limited to HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, MySQL.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services
- Experience building and interacting with RESTful APIs
- Experienced with 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Experience with WordPress and WordPress Plug-ins is preferred
- Comfortable with the concepts and creation of automated tests (TDD, integration testing, etc.)
